In news that will surprise exactly zero people, I am beyond excited for Princess Kate’s three-week tour of Australia and New Zealand. She’s already knocked it out of the park with the amazing red coat she wore getting of the plane. Although apparently it is very windy down under, because it looks like she came very close to having an oopsy-daisy in that amazing red coat. It’s hard out there for a princess!

Also, I hope it’s not uncouth to say so, but I can’t help but notice that Will and Kate’s last big royal tour (to Asia in 2012) happened just about nine months before Prince George was born. Dare we hope for Royal Baby Part Deux!?

Speaking of Prince George — has there every been a baby alive who looked more like a king? He’s got his “not impressed” face down to a T. I’m almost 30 years old, and I can’t even sneer like that.

Guess some things you’re just born with.

GREEK SHRIMP GYROS WITH TZATZIKI (recipe from So Tasty, So Yummy)

2 tbsp olive oil, divided
juice of one lemon
1 tsp red wine vinegar
1 tsp dried oregano
salt and pepper
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined, with tails removed
4 whole wheat pita bread
tzatiki sauce (store-bought or homemade)
2 roma tomatoes, chopped
1 cucumber, peeled and diced

1. In medium bowl, whisk together 1 tbsp olive oil, lemon juice, vinegar, oregano, salt and pepper. Toss shrimp in marinade and set aside for 5-10 minutes.
2. In large sauté pan, heat remaining 1 tbsp olive oil over medium high heat. Sauté shrimp for 5-6 minutes, until pink and cooked through. Serve the shrimp on pita bread topped with tzatiki sauce, tomatoes and cucumbers.

Would Kate & Co. enjoy a meal like this? I can’t tell. It’s very simple, yet still delicious and fresh. We certainly enjoyed it!
